What are the benefits of mesotherapy?

The biggest advantage of mesotherapy is that it is very gentle on the skin. Due to the shallow injection depth and the low dosage of the individual active ingredients, it only minimally irritates the skin and therefore does not cause stress for the body. It can also be used in a variety of ways. The most diverse types of wrinkles can be treated with mesotherapy. These include, for example, surgical scars, mimic wrinkles, drooping corners of the mouth, small wrinkles on the face, neck and décolleté, as well as pregnancy scars.

Overall, the skin looks younger and fresher after a mesotherapy treatment and radiates from within.

Treatment

Mesotherapy is a minimally invasive treatment method that has been used for over 60 years in both the medical and cosmetic fields and is basically about activating the natural protective functions of your skin. Cell division, regeneration and collagen synthesis are triggered by the targeted creation of tiny micro-injuries. At the same time, your skin's resistance is strengthened and high-quality active ingredients can be introduced into the middle layer of the skin (dermis) in a targeted manner.

What are the risks and complications of mesotherapy?

If all requirements are met and the treatment is carried out professionally, complications from mesotherapy are rare. There is only a risk of slight redness and swelling after treatment of particularly sensitive areas. However, these quickly disappear on their own. Peeling of the upper skin layer is also harmless.

In rare cases, dizziness and nausea may occur after a mesotherapy treatment. As with any procedure, there is a certain residual risk of infection with mesotherapy. However, this is minimised by strict adherence to hygiene regulations.

Overall, mesotherapy is regarded as a safe and low-risk method.
