In this day and age of convenience foods, preservatives, genetic engineering, pesticides and poor nutrition, more and more disease-causing substances such as fermentation and putrefaction substances, heavy metals, toxins, chemical and drug residues, parasites and worms accumulate in the body, making detoxification of the body a wonderful measure for maintaining health.
For example, vital oxygen cannot circulate sufficiently if excess toxins and gases clog up the body's cells, nervous system and connective tissue. It is therefore not surprising that the liver, kidneys, lymphatic system and intestines reach their limits.

By retreating from the daily routine, new free spaces open up to give us inspiration and creativity. The aim of the cleansing retreat, in addition to the already important physical aspect, is to open up a new or expand an existing consciousness through explanation and education on the subject of "healthy living" in order to achieve a more pain-free existence.

We start with a full body analysis using kinesiology to find out the current status:

• family and personal history
• Checking the spine and all joints + leg lengths
• Nutritional analysis
• Kinesiological testing of the entire body
  • incl. heavy metals + toxins + waste products + emotional blockages
  • mineral and vitamin status + allergenic stress + intolerances
  • interference fields + teeth + stones in the elimination organs + causes

Based on the analysis, we draw up a cleansing plan for the entire body and start the cleansing process with two treatments a day (choice of hydro-colon therapy, physiotherapy, partial or full body massage, sea salt or volcanic earth detox massage, foot reflexology and lymphatic drainage).
A liver and gallbladder cleanse can also be carried out as part of this cleansing retreat.

To support cleansing and normalise the acid-base balance, we recommend fresh juices, green smoothies, fruit, vegetables and salads (preferably organically grown), as well as plenty of herbal teas and water.

Our roof terrace with its breathtaking view over the sea invites you to do gymnastics/yoga or similar.
Agulo is also the starting point for wonderful shorter and longer hikes.

As the programme is very intensive and there is little time for exploring the island, we recommend simply extending your stay on La Gomera a little before or after the retreat. It is also possible to add a second week to the cleansing programme.
